What I'm into

There's the rack in the closet, and there's the land in front of you. Both need tending and reward the long view.

This site is the working notebook of one person who keeps an eye on each. Infrastructure and land — different timescales, same satisfaction in keeping a system honest.

Homelab & self-hosting

A Proxmox cluster doing what'd otherwise cost a subscription. The services I rely on live in my house.

Networking

UniFi top to bottom — VLANs, fiber drops, and the quiet satisfaction of a clean port map.

Linux

Daily driver since before it counted as a personality. Most days are still a terminal and a tab.

Photography

Full-frame, RAW workflow. Mostly the things that don't sit still — kids, weather, dogs that won't pose.

Farming & homesteading

Rural Texas, chickens with opinions, fences that need walking. Land is the slowest, most honest system I run.
